Uniroyal Fun Cup - Paul competed in the Uniroyal Fun Cup Endurance race at Croft with a shared drive

Paul was 1st in class throughout the whole season until the final double header meeting at Croft in September, when gearbox failure meant that he missed one race, losing the championship by one point.

Also this year Paul raced the MG ZT520 in the 100kms race at Silverstone. Retired after three quarters of the race distance due to prop shaft bearing failure. Finishing 21st due to the number of laps that the car was ahead of the other competitors.
PREVIOUS YEARS
2004/2005 - Paul raced another MG Metro in the Scottish Championship and the Northern Saloon Championship
September 2005 - The MG ZT520 made its first racing appearance at the Britcar 24 hr International Race at Silverstone. Paul competed along with 3 other drivers and they finished halfway up the order of 65 starters. |
